The phone call
Four to six minutes. What hurts, what your PT said, what you are trying to get back to. If a different studio or a hot format suits you better, we say so.
A classical Pilates studio for people who want to be watched, cued, and corrected — not counted. Group classes cap at six. Your first visit is a 55-minute private assessment, always.
“My PT discharged me and said keep doing this. Now what?” is how half of our clients introduce themselves.
We opened in 2011 because the answer to that question in this city was either a 20-reformer room where nobody touches your ribcage, or nothing. So: six reformers, two Cadillacs, one Wunda chair, one ladder barrel. Enough apparatus to progress you for a decade, small enough that a teacher can put a hand on your shoulder blade before the second rep goes wrong.
We work alongside your physical therapist or chiropractor, never instead of them. We will ask for your discharge notes. We will read them.

Every format below runs on the same apparatus in the same room. Levels are prerequisites, not suggestions.
One 55-minute private, then four Foundations sessions: footwork, breath mechanics, spring tension, and how to get on and off a reformer without apologizing. Required before any group reformer class — no exceptions, including for former athletes.
5 sessions · 2–3 weeks · Absolute beginners welcomeSix clients, one teacher, 50 minutes. Footbar work, straps, jumpboard, then tower springs for the standing series. Levels 1, 1/2, and 2 posted separately on the schedule so you are never the only person guessing.
Cap of 6 · 50 min · Foundations requiredThe original order, taught in sequence, with spine correctors and the magic circle. No apparatus prerequisite. The one class we recommend for the February stretch when it is dark at 4:30 and the drive to a gym feels impossible.
Cap of 10 · 45 min · Open levelFull-studio hours on the Cadillac, chair, and barrel. This is where post-PT bridging, osteopenia programming without loaded spinal flexion, and shoulder work that lives between rehab and the barbell actually happens. Bring a friend and split it.
1:1, 1:2 or 1:3 · 55 min · By appointmentTrimester-specific reformer and tower work, then a postpartum return that starts with breath and pelvic floor coordination — not planks. We clear you at your six-week visit, not before, and we will happily talk to your midwife. Infants welcome in the studio for the 10:15 slot.
Private or duet · Two teachers certified in pre/postnatalNot sure which line to read first? Call (612) 555-0198 and describe what hurts. It takes four minutes and we will tell you honestly if we are the wrong studio for it.

Wood floors over joists, brick on two walls, and windows facing east so the 6:00 a.m. class watches the light arrive. We humidify from November through March because indoor air here drops near 20% relative humidity and reformer leather does not forgive that. Small detail. It is the kind of thing that tells you who maintains their equipment.
Shoes off inside the door — road salt and sand end at the mat. Grip socks are required and sold at the desk for $18 if you forget. There are cubbies, a changing room, a water station, and a step-free entry from the rear lot.
I was eight weeks postpartum and my core felt like it belonged to someone else. Nobody rushed me. Twelve weeks later I carried both kids up the stairs without thinking about it.Anna R. · Kingfield · Google review, March

Nothing here is a surprise on arrival. The intake is a paid private, not a sales tour, and you leave it with written notes on what we saw and what we are going to do about it.

$95. Standing and gait screen, breath, hip and shoulder range, then your first work on the reformer. You get springs and settings written down.
$340 for the four. Booked at times you can actually keep. Same teacher for all four so nobody restarts your history.
You pick a pack or a membership and you know which levels you are cleared for. Most people land on two group classes plus one private a month.
Minnesota does not license Pilates instructors, so the credential is the only thing that means anything. Everyone on this floor completed a 450+ hour comprehensive program — mat and full apparatus — and holds current NPCP certification plus CPR/AED. Continuing education is logged, not implied.
